Prospective Foreign Students for admission to our 6-year course in Medicine

Every year a number of students from both EU and non-EU Countries enroll at our School for our Doctor of Medicine program. Applicants are required to pass the admission test, which is held every hear in the Spring-Summer preceding the Fall semester. EU citizens compete with Italian citizens and residents for the general quota (approximately 270 places); non-EU citizens who do not reside in Italy compete for a reserved quota of five places, one of which is for citizens of the PRC. Prospective exchange students (Erasmus, Placement)

Every year, over 30 foreign students spend up to 12 months at our School of Medicine to attend our formal courses and receive practical training in our clinical services and research laboratories.Please note that we cannot accept freemovers, but only candidates nominated for exchange from our Erasmus partner Universities.Prospective exchange students should contact our Erasmus office as soon as possible and select a suitable program of studies for their Learning Agreement, which should be filled by July 15th for the first semester and by October 15th for the second semester. Applicants are strongly advised to matriculate in the courses that are offered in English during Academic Year 2016-17. These courses are Gastroenterology (first semester), Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Emergency Medicine, Nephrology and Cardiology (second semester). In addition, applicant can select courses taught in Italian from our course list (Guida dello Studente). Since instruction is arranged by semester (late September to December and March to early June), applicants should only select courses offered in the relevant semester. On occasion, foreign students are allowed by our Erasmus office to take courses pertaining to different year, provided that their schedules do not overlap.
